From the Queen City to Canadas Capital, US Airways Customers Can Escape Hot Days for Cool Summer Nights

TEMPE, Ariz., May 31, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) --US Airways (NYSE:LCC) today announced it will begin service connecting the airlines largest hub, Charlotte, N.C., with Ottawa, Ontario. Customers from the United States can now escape the summer heat for cooler Canadian nights and, conversely, travelers from Ottawa can now connect to more than 100 US Airways destinations from the Queen City.
Ottawa joins the list of five other destinations that have been added from Charlotte in the past 18 months, including service to Rome which began May 13 and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil which started in December. The daily service to Ottawa will be operated by US Airways Express partner Air Wisconsin using 50-seat CRJ-200 regional jets.
